ROBIDOUX, Roland (1925-2005)

It is with profound sadness that his family announces his death on Monday, October 10, 2005, at his residence in Sturgeon Falls, at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by his wife Anita Robidoux (née Plouffe). Survived by his friend Cécile Martel of Sturgeon Falls. Loving father of Linda Duguay (Peter) of Rivière des Français, Louise Robidoux (Raymond LeRiche) and Gisèle Chrétien (Alain), both of Sturgeon Falls. Dear brother of Della Trottier (late Donat), Sudbury, Rita Vaillancourt (Francois), Sudbury, Maurice Robidoux (Viviane), Val Caron, Lena-May Gray (Don), Levack, Charles Robidoux (Thérèse), Sturgeon Falls, Richard Robidoux (Dorothy), Sudbury, Patricia Anne Gagnier (Pierre), Chelmsford and Norma Robidoux (Gilles Larose), Sudbury. Predeceased by his sister Lorraine Boobie (late Howard). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Tina Duguay Blacklock (friend André Fortin), Chelmsford, Lori-Ann St-Louis (Marc), Sudbury, Karen Duguay (friend Brent Bunting), Barrie, Steven Duguay (friend Susan Mclachan), Toronto, Janouque LeRiche (friend Vi Huynh), Toronto, Étienne LeRiche (friend Katherine Bliss), Truro, Nova Scotia and his great-grandchildren Wesley and Michael Blacklock, Chelmsford and Matthew St-Louis of Sudbury. Born is St-Charles, M. Robidoux was the son of the late Albert Robidoux and the late Geneviève Robidoux (née Lemieux). Roland was retired, having worked at Laurentian University as a security guard. The family will receive friends after 10:15 a.m., Saturday, October 15, 2005, in La Résurrection Church, Sturgeon Falls. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., presided by Reverend Father Gerald LaJeunesse. Donations to the A.L.S. Society or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
