ROBB, Stanley Mervin

Died at Nipissing Manor on Monday, October 24, 2005. Stanley Mervin Robb was the beloved husband of the late Catherine Anne Sunstrum, at the age of 83. Survived by his stepson George Odekirk of Kitchener. Stan was the dear brother of Evelyn Bedard (Barry deceased). Bill Robb (Penny) and Shirley Bedard (Ray) all of North Bay. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Harvey, Eddie and Don. A veteran of the Second World War, Stan served in Europe for five years returning home in 1945. A stationary engineer he was employed by the government at the post office for over 30 years. Cremation has taken place at Forest Lawn Crematorium, on Tower Drive. Visitation will be held in the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (across from City Hall) on Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. followed by a memorial service to celebrate Stan's life, in the Funeral Home Chapel at 3 p.m. Interment of ashes to be in St. Mary's Cemetery. If desired donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
