The family announces with great sorrow the passing of Marie Rivet at the North Bay Regional Health Center on December 6th, 2015 after a brief illness. Marie was the daughter of the late Georges and Aurore Rivet. Predeceased by brothers, Dr. Marc Rivet and Andre Rivet and sisters Clemence Regimbal (Maurice – deceased) Claire Blevins (Duane – deceased), Odette Rivet and Dorothee Rivet. Marie is survived by her sister Madeline Picard (Albert) North Bay, and several nieces and nephews. Marie worked for many years in Montreal at Simpsons before her retirement in 1984 when she moved back to her home town, North Bay to be close to her friends and family. Family will be receiving friends at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on December 11th, 2015 from to 2-4pm and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be conducted in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday December 12, 2015 at 11 am. If desired, donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
