Ken Richardson died peacefully at the North Bay General Hospital on Thursday April 24th, 2008 at the age of 85 years. Ken was the much loved husband of June Pennie. The proud and loving father of Peter Richardson of Calgary and Linda Richardson of Victoria, BC, he was also the dear step father of Susan Hutton (Don), of Themsford, Sally Rogers (Tim) and Mary Jean Udeschini (Marc), both of North Bay, and Dianne Pennie of Los Angeles, CA. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Karina amd Gavin and step grandchildren Mark, Jamie, Luke and Lauren. The dear brother of Diana Thomson of Bracebridge, he was predeceased by his brother Roger. Born in England he proudly served in the RAF during WWII. In 1946 he moved to Canada and in 1949 began his 22 year career in the Royal Canadian Air Force. He retired in 1972 as an air traffic controller, then began his second career as a transit bus driver for the City of North Bay. In keeping with his wishes cremation will take place.
