Peggy Rich died peacefully at Eastholme, Powassan on Friday, July 12, 2013 surrounded by loving family. She was in her 85th year. Peggy (nee Croteau) was predeceased by her husband of almost 65 years, Henry Rich (d. 2011). She was the loving mother of Heather Turcotte (John) of North Bay, Pat Rich (Marisa) of Milton, Mike Rich of Powassan, Diana Rich (Denis Bergeron) of Kingston, Tracy Rich (Ginette Belanger) of North Bay, Troy Rich (Anne) of Orillia and was predeceased by her daughters Mary Julian Rich, Janette Rich and great-grand-daughter Angel Dawn Bourque. Peggy was the proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The Rich family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Monday, July 15, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm with Royal Canadian Legion Branch #445 Ladies Auxilliary tribute at 7 pm and Vigil Prayers at 8:45 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, Powassan on Tuesday at 11 am. Cremation to follow.
