(1941 - 2008) - The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls on Tuesday, November 11th, 2008 at the age of 67 years. Son of the late Edward and of the late Grace Restoule. Beloved husband of Anita (née Mageau) Restoule. Loving father of Patsy Thibeault (Michel) of Courtice, Ont, Rock Restoule of Dokis Bay, Cindy Restoule (David Paulitzki) of Elliot Lake, and Cory Restoule (Nathalie) of Verner. Brother of Rosemarie Senecal (Mimie) and Yvan Restoule, both of Sturgeon Falls, Donna Dakin (Joe) of Illinois, U.S.A, Mark Restoule (Anne) of Amhersburg and Francine Desrosiers (John) of Windsor. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his six grandchildren, Laura, Jason, Kody, Cassandra, Victoria and Brett. Eugene was a proud and devoted member of the Knights of Columbus, having attained the 4th degree as well as being the founding Grand Knight of the Verner Chapter Père Paradis Counsel 9049 and Grand Knight of Counsel 4499 Mary Immaculate. As the operator of Welcome Lodge in Lavigne, Eugene was the co-founder of the Vacation Land 64 Tourism Association and the Vacation Land 64 Walleye Hatchery. He was also a board member of the Ontario Métis and Non-Status Indian Association for 2 years as well as having served on the WBAFN Board of Directors for 7 years. His lifestyle reflected his choice to lead a life of service to individuals and to his community. The family will receive friends at the THEORET BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, Friday, November 13th, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 11a.m. in the Dokis Bay Community Complex. Donations to the Daffodil Lodge, Regional Cancer Center Sudbury would be appreciated. (Cheques only)
