Suddenly at North Bay General Hospital on Monday, November 24, 2003 in her 70th year. Yvonne (Oshell) was the beloved wife of the late Nick Rennette (2002) and the loving mother of Rodney Pennette (Debbie) of Powassan and Terry Rennette (Kathy) of North Bay. She was the much-loved grandmother of Tyler, Chris, Amanda and Nicholas. Yvonne was the loved daughter of Eleanor (Hummel), the late Joseph Oshell and stepdaughter of the late Harry Duncan. She was the dear sister of Clarence Oshell (Caron) of Powassan, Sharon Booth (Dennis) of Trout Creek, Doug Oshell (Ann) of Powassan and Pat Reichstein (Gene) of Trout Creek. She was also a stepsister of Dick Duncan (Donna), Barb Van Rassell (Brian, deceased), the late Diane McCoy (Jack) and David Duncan. The family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home in Powassan (724-2024) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm with a prayer service at 8:45 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Terry Foley on Thursday at 11 am in the St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Powassan. Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery, Trout Creek. If desired donations may be made in Yvonne's memory, to the St. John's Alsace Church Renovation Fund or the charity of your choice.
