RENAUD, Lorenzo “Guy“

The family announces with sorrow the sudden death of Mr Lorenzo “Guy“ Renaud of Temagami on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at the age of 67 years. Born at Sturgeon Falls on May 31, 1940 to the late Emile and Solange Renaud. Mr Renaud had worked as a Diesel Mechanic at Sherman Mine until the closing of the mine. Guy was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, camping, making wood for winter and time spent with his family. He enjoyed entertaining his family and friends by playing guitar and singing. He will be remembered as a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend. Predeceased by his parents; children: Michel and Kimberly; brother Horace; and sisters: Fleurette Renaud, Yvette Labelle and Jacqueline Labelle. Guy is survived by his loving wife Joan. Sadly missed by his children: Laurier [Anne] Renaud of Orillia, Nicole [Doug] Renaud of London, Wendy [Paul] Allair of Temagami and Debby Renaud of Temagami. Fondly remembered by twelve grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. Also left to mourn are his siblings: Colette [Octave] Rhéaume of Sturgeon Falls; sisters-in-law: Solange Renaud of Sturgeon Falls, Doreen Roberts of Alliston; and special friends: Norm and Marilyn Lacroix of Temagami, Gary and Darlene Ames of Englehart. The Renaud Family will welcome friends at St Elizabeth Catholic Church - Temagami, Monday, May 26, 2008 from 7: to 9:pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated from St Elizabeth Catholic Church - Temagami, Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 10:15 am. Father Peter Moher officiating. Interment will follow at Whispering Pines Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Jean Draper Memorial Building Fund, the Kim Renaud Scholarship or the charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
