RENAUD, Clarabelle, (née Lalonde)

1918- 2006. The family announces with sorrow her death after a lenghty illness at St. Joseph's Motherhouse, North Bay, on Friday, May 26, 2006 at the age of 88 years. Daughter of the late Henry and Lauretta (née Larocque) Lalonde. Wife of the late James Thomson who died in WWII and of the late Edward Renaud. Loving mother of James Thomson (Karen), Susan Guenette (Jean-Guy), and Anthony Renaud (Suzanne) all of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by her daughter, Rev. Sister Carol Thomson (Sister of St. Joseph) – 2003. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren, Tracey St. Jean, Jamie Cushing, Cathy Bull, Peggy Thomson, Curtis Thomson, Jennifer McLaren, Heather Guenette, Edward Guenette, James Renaud, and Patrick Renaud and by her 13 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Frank Lalonde (Pauline) of Sturgeon Falls, Theresa (Jack Ayers) of Barrie, the late Charles Lalonde (Betty), the late Edouard Larocque, late Fred Larocque and the late Alice Mammoletti whom she considered siblings. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.



Clara was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Everyone who knew Clara will remember her most for her kindness and compassion to both people and animals. Special thanks to the staff on 2 South at St. Joseph's Motherhouse, North Bay. Words cannot express the affection and care given to Clara.



The family will receive relatives and friends at THEORET- BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, Sunday, May 28, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Reverend Father Raymond Sullivan will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Sturgeon Falls, Monday, May 29, 2006 at 10 :30 am. In memory of Clara, donation to the St. Joseph's Motherhouse, North Bay, or Mass offerings would be appreciated.
