REMILLARD, Solange (née Grandchamps) 1916 - 2005

It is with profound sadness that her family announces her passing at the West Nipissing General Hospital, on Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at the age of 88. Dearly beloved mother of Michel (Michelle), Claude (Florence), and Claire Savage (Claude) of Sturgeon Falls, left to treasure her memory forever are her seven precious grandchildren: Natalie Michaud (Yves), Shawn (Sarah), Patrick (friend Tammy), Ginette Zaba (Danny), Lynn Remillard, Sylvie Bélanger (Michel), Chantal Savage and 10 great-grandchildren: Jessica, Stephanie, Michael Zaba, Kevin, Mélanie Bélanger, Mathieu, Nicolas Gingras, Shaun, Jesse Remillard and Mathieu Michaud. She will be fondly remembered by her sister Simone Renaud (René). Predeceased by Rhéa Lepage, Laurencia Perrin, Yvonne Fortin, Jeannette Demers, Armandine Perrin and by two brothers Origène and Émilien Grandchamps. Family receiving relatives and friends at the THÉORæT FUNERAL HOME, today, March 18, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Reverend Gerald Lajeunesse will celebrate the funeral mass at the Sacré Coeur Church, on Saturday, March 19th at 10 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the West Nipissing General Hospital would be appreciated to honour Solange's memory. The family would like to express their most sincere gratitude to the physicians, the nursing staff, relatives and close friends for all the care, compassion and support that was shared at their time of need.
