(1930-2007). The family announces with sorrow his death at the West Nipissing General Hospital, Sturgeon Falls, on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at the age of 76 years. Son of the late Hector and of the late Marguerite (née Corriveau) Rainville. Cherished husband of Claire (née Sylvestre) Cayen of Verner. Dear father of Léonne (Richard Arbour) of Sudbury, Joanne (Jean-Noël Beaudry) of Verner, Lucie (Bernard Rivest) of Lavigne, Joël (Debbie Ringuette) of Whitefish and Steve (Suzanne Cayen) of Verner. Step-father of Ronald Cayen (Margaret Stinson) of Welland. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his ten grandchildren, Josée Rivest (friend Dennis Cooper), Julie Rivest (friend Kevin Boissonnault), Robert Arbour (Corinne St. Jacques), Sylvie Rivest (Kevin Pierbon), Ronald (Lynn Beaudry), Daniel Beaudry (friend Sacha Rainville), Renée Beaudry (Eric Beaudette), Benoit Beaudry ( Dominique Langlois), Shelby and Sheldon Rainville and by six great- grandchildren, Véronique Rochon, Selina Arbour, Andrée Courchesne, Marcus Boissonnault, Alexandre Boissonnault and Léa Beaudette. Step- grandfather of Casey and Colin Cayen. Dear brother of Roland Rainville (Dolorèse Vincent), Jeanne (Clément St-Amour), Rita (Harvey Turgeon), Claude (Denise Giguère) all of Sudbury, Fleurette (friend David Turgeon) of Verner. After 26 years of service with Laberge Lumber in Sudbury, Raymond retired in 1973. He loved hunting, fishing and enjoyed traveling to attend fiddle festivals. Music and dancing were his passion.



The family will receive friends for a memorial gathering at the Club de L'Amitié, Verner, Saturday, September 29, 2007 from 12 to 3 p.m. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. in Verner Public Cemetery. Donations to Au Château, Home for the Aged or to the West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements in care of THEORET- BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Verner.
