Posted

Mildred Puddister
Mildred spent Christmas in Heaven after having passed away peacefully on December 24, 2020 at Nipissing Manor at the age of 98 years. Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Puddister and predeceased by infant daughter Sharon.
Loving mother to Mike (Marie) of Guelph, Jim of North Bay and Dan (Gwyneth) of Sault Ste. Marie. Cherished grandmother of Kevin (Yvette), Kate (Graham), Bailey (Max), Charley (Nathan), Joey (Carissa), Molly (Pablo), Sadie and Sam (Sophie); and great grandmother of Madeline and André; and a loving aunt and godmother.
Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Muriel (nee Dubreuil) Bradley, and her brothers Ray (Madeline), Lester (Pauline) and her sisters Onetta (Joanis), Winnifred (Maleszko), Hilda (Bachmeier) and Janet (Louiseize). Mildred is survived by her sisters Lola (Hervé) Boissonnault and Lynn (Richard) Myher.
Mildred was very committed to the Catholic Church and her growing family, even after suffering a debilitating stroke in 2013. She was a long-time member of over 55 years in the C.W.L. and a 25-year Associate Member of the Sisters of St. Joseph.
A special thanks to the dedicated and caring staff of Nipissing Manor who made Mildred/Millie’s days brighter. And to Brian Sullivan, who ensured that she was able to receive the sacrament of communion every Sunday.
