POTTER, William Knowlton

January 9th, 1945 - June 22nd, 2007 - Passed away peacefully at home with family at his side after a dignified battle with cancer. Son of the late Lt. Cmdr. William Bill F. Potter and Jean O. Megloughlin. Survived by his loving wife Janet Potter (Nee Camsell). Loving father of Camsell, Stewart and Eric. Cherished grandfather of Fletcher, Parker and Evan. Dear brother of Janet F. Potter. Will be sadly missed by daughter in laws Kristin, Donna, and Tara and relatives. Recently retired, Knowlton enjoyed a meaningful career at Chippewa Secondary School as a teacher, coach, mentor and friend to many. Thank you to the CCAC and VON, particularly Karen Summers. Cremation has taken place.



Friends may call at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (across from city hall) on Wednesday June 27th ,afternoon and evening, from 2 4 & 7 - 9pm. Services to celebrate Knowlton's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday June 28th at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations to the Worldwide Wellness/ pain control organization, the Daffodil Lodge at NEOCC, or the charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged as expression of sympathy.
