Polec, Colette (nee Fournier)

Peacefully passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on April 27, 2015 at the age of 77 years. Predeceased by her husband Joseph. Loving mother of Steven, Jody and Michelle. Cherished grandma of Gabrielle Point. Dear sister of Raymond Fournier. Colette will be sadly missed by her furry companion Georgie. She will be sadly missed by her best buddy of 55 years, Claire Menard. Colette is predeceased by her father; Rene Fournier, stepfather; Adelard Gauthier, mother; Fidelia (nee Mantha) and siblings; Laurent, Elmo, Alva (Al). Colette will be always remembered for her sense of humour, her strong religious faith, her superb quilting skills and her dedication as a skating mom. Family will receive friends at the McGuinty Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Church on Saturday at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations to a Charity of Choice would be gratefully appreciated by her family.
