Dear Son of Hermengilde Poirier and Alexandrina Poirier (nee Pichette) both predeceased.
Beloved husband of Jeaninne Poirier (nee Remillard ), Cherished father of Louise Piette (Marcellin), Conrad Poirier- predeceased (Marian), Ron Poirier (Dana predeceased) and Daniel Poirier (Dori). Treasured Pepere of Marc Piette (Cathy), Lyne Dionne (Mike), Bryan Poirier (predeceased), Laura Poirier (Josh), Carter Poirier, Erika Poirier, Melissa Lafond (Jeff), Erin Lafond (Rick), Darryl Lafond (Stephanie) and Brandon Poirier and great grandfather to 14 children.
Dear Brother of Leo Poirier, Gracia Chartrand. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Lucienne, Rolland, Cecile, Simone, Angelina, Roger, Therese, Gabriel, Victor and Aime.
Marcel had a love for moose hunting. He was heavily involved in the community in several organizations and long-time member of the Knights of Columbus as well as a Volunteer Firefighter in Cache Bay. Marcel was always happiest when he was surrounded by his family and friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Ste-Therese-D’Avila Church, 56 Cache Street, Cache Bay, ON. Thursday, November 24th , 2022 at 10:15 a.m. A funeral service is to follow at 11:00 a.m.

Pépère précieux de Marc Piette (Cathy), Lyne Dionne (Mike), Bryan Poirier (prédécédé), Laura Poirier (Josh), Carter Poirier, Erika Poirier, Melissa Lafond (Jeff), Erin Lafond (Rick), Darryl Lafond (Stephanie) et Brandon Poirier et arrière-grand-père de 14 petits enfants.

Marcel avait un amour pour la chasse à l’original. Il était fortement impliqué dans sa communauté dans plusieurs organisations et il était membre des Chevaliers de Colomb depuis plusieurs années ainsi qu'un pompier volontaire à Cache Bay. Marcel était toujours le plus heureux lorsqu’il était entouré de sa famille et ses amis.
La famille recevra parents et amis à la paroisse Ste-Thérèse D’Avila, 56 Rue Cache, Cache Bay, ON, le jeudi 24 Novembre 2022 à 10h15. Service funéraire à 11h00.
