POIRIER, Arthur

Passed away June 1, 2007 at the age of 86. Predeceased by his parents, Pierre Poirier and Maria Anna Ruest. Survived by sisters, Germaine and Lucienne, daughters, Anne Marie (Byan Charron), Sylvie (Emile Lamthe), sons Gaston, Denis (Veronica), Jean Pierre (Diane), Daniel, Michel, Mark and Paul (Cathy). Predeceased by his wife Thêrese Lahaie, son Joseph and daughter Monique, two sisters and three brothers. Arthur was a Veteran of the WWII and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, trapping and fishing. Family will receive friends at St. Williams Church in Kipawa, Q.C. at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2007 with the funeral to follow at 11 a.m. As per his wishes, there is no wake. Any donations can be made to St. Williams Memorial Fund or charity of your choice.
