PIGEAU, Homer

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at North Bay General Hospital Scollard Site, Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at the age of 92. Homer Pigeau was the beloved husband of the late Irene Pigeau (née Charette) and dearly loved father of Colleen Lemieux (Jack deceased) of Gatineau, Québec, June Taylor (Robert) of North Bay, Dolores Barone (Jim) of Barrie, Emile Pigeau (Janice) of North Bay and Michael Pigeau (Margaret) of Elliot Lake. He was be lovingly remembered by 16 grandchildren and 22 great- grandchildren. Homer was the dear brother of Dorothy Moore (Graham) of Ottawa and Murray Pigeau (Frieda) of North Bay. Predeceased by his parents, Lucie and Pierre Pigeau and four sisters, Violet, Beatrice, Anita and Mamie. Homer was a proud honorary member of the North Bay Elks Lodge for 50 years. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and all who knew him. They will cherish their memories of him forever.



No visitation. Cremation at Forest Lawn Crematorium. A memorial mass will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus Church, Saturday January 6, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. As expressions of sympathy donations to Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada would be gratefully appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to MCGUINTY FUNERAL HOME.
