Formerly of Kingston, Ontario. Beloved wife of Walter J. Piercy (deceased 1997) passed away peacefully at Cassellholme on Sunday July 6, 2008 in her 97th year. Cherished mother of Elin Palangio (Dave) and mother-in-law of Kathy Piercy. Predeceased by her son Dr. Neil Piercy and baby daughter Ann Piercy. She will be lovingly remembered by five grandchildren Karen (Greg), Michael (Lisa), Alisha (Devlin), Jay (Liz) and Jed and seven great grandchildren Ryan, Alison, Orin, West, Glen, Una and Fanon. “I am not gone, I'll be in the wind, The stars, the sunshine, And on butterfly wings.” Special thanks to Dr. Prins and the great staff at Cassellholme for their good care and excellent service provided during her stay. To honour Helen's wishes, there will be no visitation. A private family service will be held at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME. Interment will follow at the Glenhaven Memorial Gardens, Kingston, Ontario. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
