PIERCE, Donald

Passed away at his residence in Callander on Thursday, August 18, 2005, at the age of 66 years. Beloved husband of France Pierce. Survived by his mother Dorothy Pierce, his sister Sheryle (Denis Blackwood), brother Edward (Sharon), sons Arthur (Robyn), Philip (Barb), daughter Margaret (Peter Stevens), as well as many nieces and nephews. Dear stepfather to Angie (Ray Wilson), Paula (Arnold Hiller), Kelly Ann (Shawn Maguire), Susie (Jeff Wissler), Laura Lynn Carrier and Danny Carrier. He will be sadly missed by his step-grandchildren. Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES on Sunday, August 21st from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday, August 22nd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 23rd at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Donations, in memory of Donald, to the Northeastern Ontario Region Cancer Centre will be gratefully acknowledged by his family. The family wishes to thank the V.O.N. nurses and the doctors at the Cancer Clinics in Sudbury and North Bay for the excellent work and care given to Don and support to Mrs. Pierce.
