PICHERACK, Eleanor

After a brief illness at the North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site on Thursday October 26, 2006 in her 94th year. Dear wife of the late Arthur Silverthorn and the late Rudy Picherack. Loving mother of Joan Stoute (Pat) of Sudbury, grandmother of David (Gillian), Mandy Beauchesne (Jon) and Kim Harrison (Tim) and great grandmother of Heidi, Christopher, Shannon, Tyler and Aiden. Survived by her sisters Florence Moodie (Bill) and Norma Hardwick (Hugh predeceased). Also predeceased by her sister Margaret and brother Bill.

Eleanor was a member of the 1929 All Ontario Champion Rinkey Dinks softball team which has been recognized by the North Bay Sports Hall of Fame.

At Eleanor’s request cremation has taken place. If desired donations to the North Bay General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the Martyn Funeral Home.
