It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Lucie Pharand at her residence Water’s Edge Community Care, on July 26th, 2022 at the age of 61.
Predeceased by her parents Jean-Marie and Rollande (nee Joly) of Temiscaming Quebec and brother Michel Pharand.
Survived by her sister Gisèle O’Hare (Daniel), brother Michel-Allain Pharand (Arlene), Aunt Denise Joly (Robert-deceased), nieces Meaghan O’Hare (Alex), Casey O’Hare (Tyler), Natalie Maille (Jamie), Julie Pharand (Raphael).
Lucie will be deeply missed by her longtime friend Kymberly Fricker and her son Brandon Fricker and long time family friend Edna Danis, for which the family are grateful to.
A special thanks to the staff on Pier 2 at Water’s Edge; Sam, Sarah, Kristal, Melissa, Liz and Nadine. We thank you for your compassion and genuine care for Lucie. You all treated her with the love, dignity and respect she deserved and I will forever be grateful for all of you.
Lucie lived every day with a smile on her face. Her incredible sense of humor and laughter she shared with others will forever be remembered by all who had the amazing opportunity to know her.
Lucie I love you so so so much.
