Lovingly remembered by his four granddaughters Meaghan and Casey O'Hare, Natalie and Julie Pharand, and many nieces and nephews. Loved brother of Paul Pharand (Clémence, deceased), Adrien Pharand (Claire), Jean-Guy Pharand (Hélène), Thérèse Gélineau (Leopold, deceased), Pauline Goulet (Antonio), and Sr. Marie-Claire Pharand. Dear brother-in-law of Robert and Denise Joly and Gilberte Pharand. Predeceased by his parents Stella and Louis Pharand, son Michel Étienne Pharand, sister Sr. Fernande Pharand, brothers Reverend Patrice Pharand and Étienne Pharand, and brother-in-law Jean Joly. Jean-Marie was a transit operator for the city of North Bay and an avid gardener.
