PETERS, Mervin James Henry

Mervin Peters died peacefully at Lady Isabelle Nursing Home, Trout Creek, on Monday, January 6, 2014. He was in his 78th year.  Mervin was the beloved husband of Barbara (Charbonneau) of Trout Creek and the much loved father of Brenda Parker (Michael) of Dundas, Mitch Peters (Tracy) of Trout Creek and Monty Peters (Wendy) of Powassan. Grandpa will be forever remembered by grandchildren Kyle, Brooke, Nicholas (Shannon), Scott and Tyler. Merv was the dear brother of Raymond Peters (Jayne) of Callander, William Peters (Grace) of North Bay and brother-in-law of Jannette and Karen Peters of Trout Creek. He was predeceased by his siblings Florence Rich, Marcella Van Mierlo and Alvin, Joe and Carl Peters. Prior to his retirement, Merv was a 32 year employee at ETI-Dyno Nobel. Mervin’s wish was to have cremation followed by interment of ashes at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Trout Creek.
