PESTOLIS, Yvonne (née Godfroid)

1918-2007 - The family announces with sorrow her death at Au Château Home for the aged, Sturgeon Falls, Monday April 30, 2007, at the age of 88 years. Daughter of the late Lucien and of the late Marguerite (née Peslin) Godfroid. Wife of the late Thomas Pestolis. Loving mother of Margaret Carré (Jean-Pierre) of Sturgeon Falls. Dear sister of Yvette Cockburn (late George) and Lucien Godfroid (Liliane) both of Sturgeon Falls.Predeceased by her sister Suzanne Marleau (late Lionel).Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Brian (Sandy) of Temiskaming Shores and Robert (Charline) of Sturgeon Falls and by her great-grandchildren Michelle, Gregory and Brandon.

Yvonne will be remembered for her unconditional love and great devotion to her family. Her <0> joie de vivre was evident in all she did. Throughout her 59 years of marriage to her beloved Thomas, together they inspired those close to them to live life to the fullest.

The family wishes to acknowledge the excellent care provided by the staff of the third floor Au Château.

The family will receive relatives and friends at THEORET-BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 from 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 1 p.m. in La Résurrection Church.
