Passed away at North Bay General Hospital, Friday, June 10, 2005, surrounded by loving family, at the age of 80 years. Gabriel Perron was the beloved husband of Beatrice (née Quinn). Loving father of Jean (Brenda Lamarche), Dianne Moffat (Lionel), Colette Stewart (Richard, deceased), Viviane Taillefer (Leo) and Jennine Perron (Ivan Thibault). Will be lovingly remembered by 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Roger (Adrienne), Moïse, Phillippe (Bernadette), Raymond (Claire), Marthe Amyotte (Jean), Yvonne Pilon, Cécile Hawman, Jeanne Dégagné (Roger). Predeceased by a son, Richard, his parents Azarias and Clara Perron, two brothers Oscar and Joseph, two sisters Alida Guillemette and Marie Gauthier. He retired from Perron Building Supplies and he was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 23. Gabe's hobby was woodwork, making special gifts for his children. He also loved fishing, hunting and the great outdoors. His passion for life brought much laughter and happiness to his family and his friends. He will be sadly missed.
