PAVONE, Giuseppe 'Peppy'

It is with heavy hearts the family of Giuseppe “Peppy” Pavone announce his peaceful passing at his home on January 12, 2021.

Peppy was born on October 17, 1930 in Pietrafitta, Italy. Survived by his loving wife Lena (nee Cirullo) for 63 years, 4 children Rosemary Conlon (Joe), Lucio (Nicole), Robert (Erin), Kerri-Ann along with his precious 7 grandchildren Kayla, Carter, Alexandra, Courtney, Christina, Matteo, and Joseph.

Predeceased by his infant son Joseph Anthony along with his beloved mother Rosina (nee Aquino), and his sister Theresina Sisca (Vince-deceased). 

Dearly loved by his 3 Tenors singing partners and brother-in-laws Mariano Cirullo (Vicki), and Alfredo Celebre (Anna). He will be deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews.

Peppy was much loved and loving husband, father, and grandfather (Nono). He and his wife operated Peppy’s Donut & Bakery shop for over 20 years. Always willing to entertain sing and play his accordion for his many friends and family while raising a glass of his red wine to celebrate his love of company with his smile and “bottoms up” saying.

He was a lifetime member of the Davedi Club and always enjoyed the many Italian celebrations especially the Annual Wine Stomping Festival. A devoted Catholic who embraced his faith especially to treat others with love and compassion.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Wendy Graham and her staff for their wonderful care and commitment along with Rejean and his staff at Phil’s Pharmacy.

To all who knew Peppy and those he touched may you live with his wishes of health, peace, and prosperity.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to NBRHC Cardiac Unit will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions the family will gather for a private funeral service at McGuinty Funeral Home.
