Gwen Osborne passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at Lady Isabelle Nursing Home, Trout Creek, on Tuesday, August, 21, 2012. She was in her 88th year. A long time resident of Trout Creek, Gwen was the devoted wife of Albert John “Bert” Osborne and loving mother of John (deceased), Jarvis, Ian and A.J. (“Little Bert”), all of Trout Creek, Jennie Mae (Dirk) of Severn Bridge and Denise (Butch) of British Columbia. Grandma will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren Candice, Chris, Salena and Kaitlyn and by great-grandchildren Tianna, Connor, Cole, Aiden, Davin and Danica. Gwen was the dear sister of J.S., Marion (Vern) and Katherine (Robert). She was predeceased by her parents Jenny and Wesley Robb. Gwen and Bert were longtime proprietors of Trout Creek General Store and Gwen was particularly active with the Trout Creek United Church Women Association. The Osborne family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Friday, August 24 in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11 am. Interment to follow at Trout Creek Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Trout Creek United Church would be greatly appreciated.
