OSBORN (CONLON) ROSE ANN

Passed away at John Joseph Place, Owen Sound, Monday, July 16, 2007, in her 94th year. Rose was the beloved wife of the late John Osborn an RCAF Flying Officer who was killed over the Mediterranean in 1942. Dearly loved mother of Judy and her husband Peter Gendron, cherished Nan 'O' to grandsons Greg and Steve (Emily), fondly remembered by sister-in-law Wendy and a specal aunt to Joy, Jeff, Michael, Irene, Teresa, Patricia and John. Predeceased by her parents Beatrice and John Conlon, sister Brydee (Connie), and brothers John, Harold, Tom and Patrick, an infant sister Elizabeth and a nephew Tom.



Rose was born in Cobalt in 1914, lived in Kirkland Lake until 1950 when she moved to North Bay. She was devoted memeber of her church, the Pro Cathedral and, for the last 30 years, of Corpus Christi Parish where she was a Eucharist Minister, a member of the funeral lunch team and a visitor to Cassellholme. Rose worked for over two decades as an executive secretary with the DOH/MTC and was a member of the North Bay Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals and a 50 year member of the Catholic Women's League. She enjoyed skating, golfing, travelling and cooking. Rose made wonderful fudge and will be remembered for her kindness, generoisty and concern for family and others.



Family receiving friends at the McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, Sunday, July 29 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Church, Monday, July 30 at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
