Ortepi, Elsa (nee Ceccanese)

Peacefully passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on March 2, 2014 at the age of 81 years. Elsa was born in Pisterzo, Latina, Italy. Dearly loved wife of Nello. Beloved mother of Giuseppe “Joe” (Mary), Angelo (Sue) and Roberto (Shelley). Cherished Nonna of Nicholas, Vittoria, Grace, Jordi, Jansen, Caitlin and Haley. She will be sadly missed by her sisters; Mabilia Campagna and Agnese Ricci and brother; Colombo Ceccanese. Elsa will be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Giuseppe and Violanda (nee Carcasole) and brother; Candido Ceccanese. Family will receive friends at the McGuinty Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus Church on Thursday at 11 a.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by her family.
