(1925 – 2007). The family announces with sorrow his death at Au Château, Home for the Aged, Sturgeon Falls, on Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at the age of 82 years. Son of the late William and of the late Bertine (née Lavallée) Olmstead. Cherished husband of Rollande (née Mainguy) Olmstead of Sturgeon Falls. Loving father of Robert (Hectorine) of Chelmsford, Richard (Jane) of Blind River, Raymond (Line) of Elliot Lake, Daniel (Vicky) of Serpent River and Linda (David McGregor) of Ottawa. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Harvey (Marieanne), Victor (Florence) and Léo (Bongo) all of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by his sister, Violet Harrison.
The family will receive friends at Sacré Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls, on Saturday, November 17, 2007 from 10 a.m. till time of service at 11 a.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Au Château, would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements in care of THEORET BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME.
