O'CONNOR, Donna Marie (nee Toeppner) “Oma“

The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Wednesday, January 10th, 2007 at the age of 62 years. Daughter of the late Paul and of the late Bernetta (nee Eckensviller) Toeppner. Beloved wife of 42 years to Breen O'Connor of Wahnapitae. Loving mother of Angella Mary O'Connor of Brooks, Alberta, Carmen Marie Kivisaari (Kai) of Bellville, Tanya Anne O'Connor of Ottawa and Danny Chevrette of Garson. Dear sister of Charles (Angela) of Powassan, Timothy (Nijole) of North Bay and Paula Jobin (late Wilfred) of Nairn Centre. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Larissa, Kaila, Breen and by her great-grandchildren Brianna and Paige.

Her hobbies included knitting and crocheting. Her good character and the kindness of her heart won the affection of her loved ones. Always considered a “Lady“, Donna will be lovingly remembered as the Bear Lady and for the making of her teddy bears, to have been a great puddle jumper, and for her motto “Never grow up“.

The family received friends at the CO- OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Sunday, January 14th, 2007 from 2-5 and 7-8:00 p.m. A funeral service followed at 8:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury.
