Passed away at his place of residence on September 1, 2018 at the age of 73 years. James was the loving father to James O’Brien (Sherodee), Robert O’Brien (Cindy), Danny O’Brien, Darren O’Brien (Jennifer) and Mary O’Brien (Patrick), Tammy Cantin (Marc), Kevin Rochefort (Kelly) and Ginette Bale (Ed). Cherished grandfather to Danika, Janelle, Keona, Kendra, Ava, Jade, Atticus, Dainen and Kwinton. James will be fondly remembered by his nine brothers and sisters; Kenny O’Brien, Eileen Baldwin, Ann Keller, Lorney O’Brien, Glen O’Brien, Theresa Snyder, Joan Simser, Mike O’Brien, and Patrick O’Brien. Predeceased by his Parents Lawrence O’Brien and Mary O’Brien (nee Cuddy). James will always be remembered for his love of hunting, fishing and more importantly, anything outdoors, as well as his love of animals. As per James wishes, cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Home Crematorium and a private family service will take place at a later date.
