Passed away peacefully at the North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 in his 92nd year. Dear husband of 57 years to Nellie. Loving father of Murray (Diane) and Trudy Stanton (Rick) all of North Bay. Papa will be sadly missed by grandchildren Aaron (Sandra Daniher), Colleen (Michael Rollason), Kendra, Stacy, Meaghan (Steve Bowler) and Kristy and by great-grandchildren Kailey Northrup, Daniella and Gibson Northrup and Jack Rollason. Predeceased by five brothers and sisters. Calvert was WWII veteran and a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 23 and the North Bay Elks Lodge. Friends may call at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (across from City Hall) this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. An Elks service will be held at 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery. If desired donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the North Bay General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
