NELSON, Esther (née Glynn)

1906 – 2007. It is with deep sadness that the family announces her death, after a beautiful life, lived to the fullest, in her residence, Sturgeon Falls, on October 16, 2007 at the age of 101 years. Daughter of the late John and of the late Sarah (née Philippe) Glynn. Wife of the late Emel Nelson (1978). Cherished mother of Joan Johnston of Elliot Lake (late Cecil), Audrey Wos of Toronto (late Frank) and Glenda Nelson of Peterborough. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Hugh, Mary Kolesnik, Michael, Margaret Roy, Elizabeth Gofton, Loretta Allary, John and David.



The family will receive relatives and friends at THEORET BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, on Friday, October 19, 2007 from 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Sturgeon Falls, at 11 a.m. Donations to Mass for Shut-ins or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
