Passed away at Leisureworld Nursing Home, Friday June 16, 2006, Leona Murphy (nee Downey), beloved wife of the late Leonard Murphy, in her 97th year . Loving mother of Moira Montgomery, Colleen Cicci (Fernando), Sharon Phillips (John), Gary (Pat), Michael (Maureen), Daniel and Shawn (Margo). Lovingly remembered by 15 grandchildren and 15 greatgrandchidlren. Predeceased by a son, Terry, five brothers, two sisters and her parents Patrick and Annie Downey. Leona was a member of the Catholic Women's League.
Family receiving friends at the MCGUINTY FUNERAL HOME today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Pro-Cathedral Memorial Fund or charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
