MOYLAN, Léonne (née Fortin)

(1908-2006). The family announces with sorrow her death at the West Nipissing General Hospital, Sturgeon Falls, Thursday, June 8, 2006 at the age 97 years. Daughter of the late Joseph Anthime and the late Georgianna (née Cté) Fortin. Wife of her soul mate the late Bill Moylan. Loving mother of Anne- Lynn Kucheran (Daniel) of Fauquier, Joe of Gatineau, PQ. (late Louise), Tom of Packenham, Patrick (Jan) of Verner, Claire Cull (Bruce) of Latchford, and Patricia Gauthier of Quebec, PQ. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 14 grandchildren and by her six great- grandchildren. Dear sister of Annette Beauchesne of Val des Monts (late Gaston), and sister, confidante, and best friend Fernande Higgins of Verner (late Bill). Predeceased by her sister Juliette and by her three brohters, Rev. Fr. Laurent Fortin, Léon and Gilbert.

A lady of great faith and of strong convictions. Léonne also leaves behind her constant companion and dear friend Juliette Régimbal and later in life her caregiver Henriette Shank. Mrs Moylan was a long time parishioner of Sacré Coeur parish.

The family will receive relatives and friends at THÉORET-BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, on Sunday, June 11, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Reverend Father Gérald LaJeunesse will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial, at Sacré Cur Church, Sturgeon Falls, on Monday, June 12, 2006 at 9 am.
