It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Karen Elisabeth Morin(McKever) at North Bay Regional Hospital on Thursday, October 12, 2023, surrounded with all her loved ones.
Karen was a true Matriarch of the family. She loved each one of us with her entire being. She is survived by her loving husband Michael Morin, her son Matthew Jenkins, Lee-Anne Carew(Bill), Jason Pilon(Gillian) and Jeffery Pilon (Nicole). Son in Law Rock Picard. A sister to Wayne McKever.Loving grandmother to Lyssa Rancier, Matthew Picard, Meaghan Rancier, Dyllan Rancier Kassandra Jenkins and Chloe Flemming. Great Grandmother to Mackenzi Goode and Grayson Rancier. Predeceased by her parents Vivan and Betty McKever, Her brother Richard McKever and oldest daughter Crystal Picard . Karen will be missed by cousins, and many friends especially those in her Englebert Humperdink fan groups and of course Kita her beautiful Husky.
We are trying to process this loss with each second of the day and as keeping with Karen's wishes she will be cremated, and we will have a celebration of life at a date to be determined. The family of Karen would love to thank the amazing doctors and nurses at North Bay Regional Hospital in Emergency CDU unit and CCU unit. In lieu of flowers the family wishes for donations to be sent to North Bay Humane Society.
