MOORE, Edward “Eddie”

Passed away at North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site, Saturday, November 24, 2007 at the age of 69. Edward “Eddie” Moore was the beloved husband of 43 years of Linda (née DiBartolomeo) and loved father of Kelly DeCosta (Rob), Leanne Moore (Peg Mitchell) and Wendy Moore all of North Bay. He will be lovingly remembered by two grandchildren, Brandt (Bridgette) and Molly-Rose, three step-grandchildren, Trevor, Kyle and Alexa and his mother- in-law, Olive DiBartolomeo-Carle (late- Tony DiBartolomeo and Lorne Carle). Eddie was the dear brother of Eleanor Portugaise-LaRochelle (Denis), Shawn (Cindy), Gary (Linda), Gordon (Maria), Beverly Schmidt (Willy), Diane Stone (Don) and dear step-brother of, Grenville Ringuette, Nancy Tremblay (Frank), Jeannine Lebel (Rhéal), Noella Chandler (Wayne), Joanne Hynd (Donna), Roger Ringuette (Karen), Leola Wildman (Robert) and Debbie Park (Harley). He will be dearly remembered by sister-in-law, Lorna St.Pierre (late-Conrad St.Pierre) (Joe Gagné), brother-in-law, Ken DiBartolomeo (Linda) and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Marie Emily (Mildred) and Clinton Moore, step-mother, Ann Ruth Moore and two brothers, Clinton and Donald. Eddie was an avid fisherman outdoorsman and enjoyed cottage living.



Family and friends may pay their respects at MCGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Church, Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Cremation will follow at Forest Lawn Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Northern Cancer Research Centre would be gratefully appreciated. The family wish to extend thanks to special friends, Kathy Caron, Billy Rotar and Gary Liberty.
