Robert (Bob) Mitchell died peacefully, following a lengthy stay at North Bay Regional Hospital, on April 10, the date he chose to say goodbye.
He is survived by his sons Brian (Janet Thorson) and Steven, granddaughters Hallie and Emma Mitchell.
A WWII veteran, Bob was an ONR employee for 35 years and was an active member of the Canadian Legion and the RCAF Association.
The family is grateful for his excellent care at Empire Living Centre and, in his final days, for the doctors, nurses and staff at North Bay Regional Hospital.
There will be no service at this time.
