Passed away peacefully at Cassellholme home for the aged on Wednesday August 15th 2007 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Margaret Bates. Father of Susan(Marcel) and Bill(Nancy). Grandfather of Todd (Andrea), Kris (Laura),Trevor(Lynn) and Stacey. Great Grandfather of Noah. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. James volunteered his time at Cassellholme playing piano for their functions. He was an avid curler at the North Bay Granite Club and also enjoyed golfing at the North Bay Country Club. James was also a proud member of the Emmanuel United Church.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd. A memorial service for James will be held on Saturday September 15th at 3pm at the funeral home. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cassellholme.
