MILLER, Hilda

Passed away peacefully at the North Bay General Hospital – McLaren Site, after a valiant battle with cancer, on Tuesday October 17th, 2006 at the age of 74 yrs. Born in Haileybury, Hilda was the daughter of George & Esther Miller. Raised in Temiscaming, Quebec by her grandparents George & Philomene Miller. She is survived by her sister, Millie Freudenthaler (Fred) of Calgary, and cousin Linda Rodwell (Craig) of North Bay. Hilda will be sadly missed by her extended family Dick & Cathy Smith, Leslie Gordon (Ross), Kenzie & Ann Edmonton.



Hilda was employed as a secretary in the maintenance department of St Joseph's Hospital for 24 years retiring in April of 1995. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, October 23rd from 1:30 until 3:30 at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES. A memorial service will follow at 3:30 pm. Flowers gratefully declined, donations in memory of Hilda to the North Bay Humane Society would be appreciated.
