MICHAUD, WILFRED (WILLIE)

Of Mattawa, passed away at the Mattawa General Hospital on Tuesday April 15, 2008 at the age of 75. Survived by his wife of 52 years, Jeannine (nee Montreuil). Loving father of Gilles (Nancy) of Sudbury, Rod (Lorrie) of Sudbury, Richard (Karen) of Mattawa, Nicole of North Bay and Francine (Bruce) of Shanty Bay. Blessed with 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Also missed by his sisters Anita of Ottawa and Gaetane of Beauharnois, Quebec and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Anna Michaud, brothers Leo and Cliff and sisters, Adrienne, Simone and Imelda. Willie worked for 33 years for the Ministry of Transportation retiring in 1989 as a patrol supervisor. Friends may call at the Martyn & Sloan ‘Mattawa Chapel’ on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral Mass will be held at St. Anne’s Church on Friday at 11 am. Interment at St. Anne’s Cemetery to follow at a later date.
