Passed away peacefully at the Mattawa Hospital on Tuesday March 1, 2011 in his 79th year. Left to mourn is his daughter Tammy, sons Jason and Stacey and godson Justin. Also missed by his grandchildren Stacy-Lynn, Jocelyn, Gavin and Benjamin and great grandchildren Shilow and Daydon. Survived by his brothers Allie, Peter, Shannon, Ronnie, Dwight and Wade and his sister and best friend, Tanna. Predeceased by his parents Howard Glabb and Bessie Pitt. Special thanks to the doctors and staff at the Mattawa Hospital. At Mervin’s request, there will be no funeral service. He will be cremated and his ashes will be buried in the spring at St. Anne’s Cemetery during a private family ceremony. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
