There is no goodbye – because we are not apart!

May 31, 1934 to August 27, 2023, It is with deep sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of Ann in her 89th at Cassellholme.

Proud Mother to Dolores Kellar (Dalton) and Kenneth MacKenzie (Sherry).

Loving Grandmother to Cheryl-ann (Kellar) Harling (Gary), Norman Kellar, and Kenny MacKenzie (Hannah) and Great Grandmother to Drake (Piper) and Devin Harling.

Ann was predeceased by both parents and her 6 siblings.

Ann was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, where Ann enjoyed summers on Lake Superior.  Ann was an avid walker, animal lover, deal shopper and coupon enthusiast.  You would often see Ann on the streets going store to store in hunt for the deals.  Ann learned to play the piano and trumpet at a young age and also became a high dive champion.  Ann often played the trumpet for Legion functions.  Ann joined the Military, where she met her husband of 25 years, C.W.O Kenneth MacKenzie (retired) and remained very close friends.

Ann was a long-time resident of Gloria Gardens and made many friends there.

Ann also volunteered and supported many charities and groups, Ann especially enjoyed volunteering at North Bay Speedway for many years, where she loved to be part of the racing family.

Special thanks to All the staff at Cassellholme for looking after Ann for many years.

Special Thanks to Dr. Prinz, Nurse Catherine and Nurse Crystal.

As per Ann’s wishes, Martyn’s Funeral Home has been entrusted with her final wishes.

The family will be planning a small private internment at a later date, at Lake Superior.
