Meir, Ken

Passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Center Friday January 3, 2014 at 46 years of age. Ken was the beloved husband of Kim and the loved father of Larrisa (Jordan) and Cody (Kaitlynn).  He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandson Lium. Ken will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, family and friends. Ken had a passion for his family and the outdoors, his personality and infectious laugh will be missed by all who knew him, he will always be out there in that tree stand waiting for the next big buck. Ken was brother to Ray (Gail), Ron (Cindy), Tim (Liane), Chad (Louise) and his twin Keith (May). Predeceased by his parents Genevive and Rolland Meir and by his sister Joanne (Dale). The family will receive visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home on Friday January 10th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service to celebrate Ken’s life will be conducted in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday at 10 a.m. If desired donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
