MEILLEUR, Stella

Life-long Resident of Mattawa Passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North, with members of her family by her side, on Friday, September 22nd, 2017. Helene Stella (nee Simon), was the beloved wife of the late Wilfred "Bylow" Meilleur, she was 75 years old. Loving mother of Jerry (Shelly), Steve, Jason (Amber), Michael (Laurie), Donna (Mike), Linda (Dany) and predeceased by her son David. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Brandon, Christopher, Ryan, Darcy, Mark, Corey, Kai, Rain, Carter, Shannon, Katie, Faith, Kaylin and by her great grandchildren Caden, Larissa, Aiyana, Theodore and Sage. Stella was predeceased by her parents Angus and Aline Simon, and by her siblings Popeye, Jughead, Ducky and Rita. Visitation will be held in the Martyn & Sloan "Mattawa Chapel" on Wednesday September 27th  from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Cremation will follow at the Forest Lawn Crematorium and a funeral mass will be held at St. Anne's Church Friday at 2pm. If desired, donations to the Canadian Diabetic Association would be appreciated by Stella's family.
