McVEETY, Stella Ann

Stella McVeety died peacefully at the North Bay General Hospital, on Monday, October, 2007 in her 87th year after a brief illness. Stella (Driver) was predeceased by her husband Welsley James McVeety (1919 - 2001). She was the beloved mother of Allecia Stripe of Restoule, Kurt McVeety (Shirley ) of North Bay, Stuart McVeety (Mona Dutrisac) of Restoule and Michael McVeety (Tammy) of Lindsay. She was the loved grandmother of Deirdre, George, Jeff, Jaime, Leslie, Jacob, Christopher and Andrew and great grandmother to Michael, Alena, Stephanie, Samantha, George and Mia. Stella was the dear sister of Harvey Driver (Bernice) of Burlington and was predeceased by her siblings Edna Osborne (George, dec.), Grace Osborne (Herb, dec.), Leslie Driver (Addie, dec.) and Stanley Driver.



The McVeety family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home on Thursday, October 25, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be on Friday at 11:00am in the Chapel. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Restoule. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Restoule United Church.
