MCLEOD, Cameron

Peacefully at the North Bay General-Scollard Site on Friday August 31, 2007 at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of 34 years to Adeline McLeod (nee Mantha). Dear father of Chris (Donna) of Sudbury, Wayne (Sharron) of Manitoba, Brenda (Brian Machado) of Brampton, Debbie (Keith Hampel) of North Bay and Tracy (Peter Cornacchio) of Sault Ste Marie and step-father to Sandra (George Maxwell) of Welland and Fred Smith of Burlington. He will be fondly remembered by his 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Betty Smerchanski (Stan, predeceased), Freda (Ollie Karkkianen) of Ottawa, Florence (Reg Williton) of Powassan and brother-in-law to Joyce McLeod of North Bay. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Mable Williton and brothers Ken and Glen McLeod. Cameron was employed by Smith Transport for over 38 years. He was a veteran of WW II and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 23.



Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd., for a memorial visitation on Tuesday September 4th from 7 until 9 pm. Funeral service Wednesday September 5th at the funeral home at 10 am. Donations to the Lung Association in memory of Cameron will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
