McLEAN, Gwendolyn Elizabeth

With great sadness, after a lengthy illness in her 80th year on November 11th, 2006. Beloved wife of Murray D. McLean of 58 years, mother of Susan Georgieff (Dennis - Niagara on the Lake), Jean Peever and Megan Scott (Andrew) both of Ottawa. Proud grandmother of Dale and Aaron, Jennifer and Megan, Eric, Emily and Ben. Pre-deceased by her mother Helena Edwards and brother George Robert Edwards and sister Edna Phyllis Eadie. Gwen was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and graduated from the Maritime Academy of Music, Halifax. Her love of music and friendship will always be cherished and we will forever remember her.



Thank you to Dr. Dellandrea and to all the nurses who cared for her during her illness. Visitation at MARTYN FUNERAL HOME (across from City Hall) on Tuesday, November 14th from 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, November 15th, at 11:00 am. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or The Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
