McKINNON, Kenneth Gordon

It is with deep sorrow that the family announces his passing at West Nipissing General Hospital, Sturgeon Falls, on Thursday, December 21, 2006 at the age of 77. Dear son of the late William and Grace McKinnon. Beloved husband of 50 years to Barbara McKinnon (nee Dagg). Loving father of Karen Dotto (Marty) of Ottawa, Kevin McKinnon (Nicole) of Callander, Brent McKinnon (Nancy) of Newmarket and Brenda Miller (Bill) of Garson. A “second dad“ to Nancy Callaghan of Sudbury. Cherished Papa of Korey, Kristopher, Kyle, Alissa and Gordon. Dearest brother of Eunice Pirie (late Cliff), Aldine Smith (Allan) and Dulcie Evans (John). Predeceased by Frieda Brunette (late Harold), Dot Ribble, Murray McKinnon (Fran) Lawrence McKinnon (Ruth) and Glen McKinnon. Fun loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Ken was an active member of the Masonic Lodge 447, Sturgeon Falls. Despite years of ill health Ken maintained his positive attitude and sense of humour. He died peacefully with loved ones at his side.

A celebration of his life was held at St. Andrew's United Church, Wednesday, December 27th at 11 a.m.
